In the middle of the pond is a huge log that divides the pond into two communities. On one side of the pond is a community of red frogs. On the other side of the pond is a community of polka dot frogs. Both communities are very similar to each other, except for one thing. FOOD. The red frogs have plenty of delicious berries to eat while the polka dot frogs have almost nothing to eat. This creates a huge hunger problem. Nevertheless, both communities are very kind and playful. They often wonder what’s on the other side of that huge log. The two communities have never been to the other side of the pond. According to legend, evil frog-eating monsters live on the other side and If you go there, you’ll never return. A unique feature about the book is you see what’s happening to both communities on their sides of the pond at the same time. They’re a mirror image of each other. How will these two communities come together to solve this hunger problem?
